Through My Eyes Art Show
For the past 3 years, the annual Through My Eyes Art Show has been an amazing experience. The art show gives our city a chance to come together and celebrate the beauty of our community. We believe all people are made in God’s image, and as Psalm 139:14 says, we are “remarkably and wonderfully made” by God, and therefore, there is beauty in each and every person. This annual, community-wide art show is the perfect outlet to draw attention to, and marvel at, this amazing truth.

Our society is full of people who are overlooked, mistreated and marginalized. The world will often judge and label us based on our lowest, hardest and most vulnerable moments, but our desire is for all people to be seen the way God sees all of us: as His children, made in His image, precious, loved, beautiful.
Each year, the Through My Eyes Art Show has the theme of “people of our community” with this desire in mind. We want to glorify God by celebrating His most loved and cherished creation. People. The art show not only lets us see the beautiful works of art created by the talented people of our community, but also lets us see the subjects of their pieces, the beautiful works of art created by a loving God.
The art show spans two days, with various exhibits and presentations, it is free to attend, and open to everyone in the community to submit their artwork. All mediums of art, from photography to sculptures, are welcome. Artwork doesn’t need to be of a person, but should at least represent or be inspired by a person, and portray an aspect of beauty the artist sees in them.
